Usually money or drugs drive people to commit violent acts like the one that happened several days ago in Detroit. The way people are raised is most of the time the cause for someone to commit such a violent act. Many of the people who do something like that had parents who didnt care about there futures. you dont see that many drug dealers that are raised from caring parents.

When i heard and read about the incident with the two boys in west Detroit i was shocked. It also made me mad because those boys if they had better parents would have tried to move away to try and avoid something like this from happening.

Many types of popular media today encourage the use of violence. This sends the message to people and children that it is ok to use violence. Its never ok to use violence especially to solve a problem, it only makes things worse.

Parents have the responsibility to watch and make sure their children have a better future. to protect their children from being a victim or perpetrator of these violent acts they need to teach their children to stay away from drugs.
