The Hero's Journey

Many different stories use these examples of archetypes many of which have stayed famous for many years. The bible is an example is one of the most famous books to use these archetypes. it starts out with creation then the villain causes the fall of man. After Adam and eve are kicked out of the garden they are promised the ultimate boon or Jesus who dies to redeem all mans sins. Another book that shows the archetypes listed is the time machine by H.G. Wells. the time traveller starts his journey by creating the time machine then taking it to the future. Once he gets there he is surprised by the ultimate boon he achieved because the result is different than what he expected. The rest of the story he has to work hard to try to make the return voyage back to his time. The last and final example of the list of archetypes is the lord of the rings. This is one of your examples but i couldn't think of a better example. It shows all of the archetypes you listed and is famous because of it.
